And, we’re off!

The first order of the day was to put the car up on what are known as car skates.  This was so we could slide the car around the garage as we work on it; we figure this project could last a year or more.  We’ll need access to not only the bicycles, but the washer and dryer, too.  At least that’s what we were told.  So, the car skates allow us to push the car around the garage easily.  The car skates also allow us to crawl under the car easily.

Here I am jacking up the car

We removed the hood for easier access to the engine bay.

Here am I after we put the car on skates and removed the hood

We are taking the radiators out of the car, and I’m taking off a bolt that connects the radiator to the car.

We are taking out the radiator.

I am removing the intake.
